From the District Superintendent's Desk
Welcome to the Spring 2025 issue of El Evangelio, the official newsletter of the South Central Church of God. As we enter this season, our hearts are filled with gratitude for what God continues to do in and through our congregations. This issue brings together updates from across the district — ministry highlights, testimonies of growth, and important information for the months ahead.
We are a bilingual family, and El Evangelio reflects that. Whether you read in English or Spanish, you will find content prepared with care and prayer for every member of our community. Thank you for staying connected.
In This Issue
- District Assembly Announcement — Dates and registration details for our upcoming annual gathering

- Women's Ministry Corner — Upcoming women's conference and discipleship opportunities
- Pastoral Transitions — Celebrating new pastoral appointments across the district

Testimony of the Season
One of the most encouraging aspects of ministry is hearing how God is moving in the lives of ordinary people. This season, several of our congregations have reported baptisms, new members joining in fellowship, and community outreach efforts that have opened doors for the Gospel. We praise God for every soul that takes a step closer to Him.
A Note on Bilingual Ministry
The South Central district is unique in its vibrant Spanish-speaking and bilingual congregations. El Evangelio has long served as a bridge — connecting our diverse family under one shared faith. We encourage every church to distribute this newsletter to their members and to use it as a conversation starter in small groups and home studies.
